Walker Armistead
StatusNext exists to do one kind of work well: finding the numbers under a high-stakes decision, and building the systems that act on them.
Walker started on the flight line as an F-16 crew chief, where decisions have immediate, physical consequences and "probably fine" isn't an answer. That habit stuck.
At Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works, Walker worked in aerospace & defense research, developing quantified value propositions for new customer campaigns. Later, at SAS, Walker moved to the business side, managing Fortune 500 accounts and leading a sales team (President's Club), mostly in manufacturing, aerospace, and supply chain. That's where the pattern became clear: large organizations often commit to contracts, plans, and investments on instinct when the data to check that instinct is sitting in their own systems.
StatusNext closes that gap. Walker does the analysis personally, from stakeholder interviews through simulation and optimization models, and stays with it through the part that matters: the rollout, the tool, or the negotiation.
